We regret to announce that as of this morning, August 25th, we will be discontinuing all activities as Machinegun Symphony. Due largely to external pressures placed on the band we have come to the conclussion that we simply cannot continue on this path. This has been an extremly difficult decision for both myself and the rest of the band but it had to be made.
We would like to extend to our fans, friends, and supporters all over the world our most heartfelt thanks and gratitude. In the nearly seven years that we have been a functioning project we have released an EP, a full length album that we were lucky enough to have produced by a personal hero, toured the U.S. many times over, toured the U.K., supported many of the largest names in the scene today and most importantly made so many wonderful friends and got to connect with people that loved our music. Putting nearly everything else second and living for MS has been the happiest and most enjoyable part of my life and it is heartbreaking to see it all end but we want to be sure that all of you that have been behind us know how much it has meant to us; you will always been in our thoughts and hearts.
This MySpace account will remain active as an archive and as a way to maintain contact with the band, we will post photos and video in the coming weeks from our recent tour and the final live performances.
