Impulse control...
It's never been something I've been very good at.
Some people have a gift of processing all the possible consequences of their actions before they speak, before they act... I don't. As a surgeon-- sure, I can stay disconnected and calm and can chart out all the complications and actions. Surgery's structured, surgery's clean.
Life sucks. Because in life there are emotions. And when emotions get involved it opens the door to impulse. And I don't have good impulse control.
When my best friend's wife kisses me, I kiss back. When I see a pretty girl, I flirt. When I get angry, I yell.
I've never had good impulse control.
