Things have been a little crazy here. We started working out of a new factory, which is bigger and way more advance than the last place. If only we knew about San-Yu before. In one week we've produced more than in a month at Belgindo. Not only that, but this place manufactures frames as well as moulding, so I wont have to train people with 0 experience in making frames. I'll probably not have to train the people much at all. They're also cheaper at this factory. Maybe the fire was a blessing after all. What else is new? I went to more temples about an hour away from where I live, called Gedung Songo, which means 9 buildings. They are some of the oldest Hindu temples in Indonesia, built in the 8th century. The temples are nowhere near as massive or complex as Borobudur, but the scenery is amazing. The temples are scattered over foothills, and you walk, or take horses from one to the next. We took horses. We thought we had to work that day, so Anton wore his work shoes, which he claimed weren't good for hiking. I think it was the fact he smokes a pack of cloves a day, and was wheezing a bit walking up the trails. Along the trail we came to a hot spring which constantly is puffing out steam, and another spot with a great view of surrounding volcanoes.
Everything else is going well. My house is quiet and a bit boring, but still I try not to go out too much. Usually just on the weekends. I meet up every once in awhile with Oliver and his friends for beers and pool. They're a funny group. A couple of them, jokingly always give me a hard time about not "finding an Indonesian girlfriend." One night at a club our friend, an Indonesian named Danny, asked me if I liked heroine. I said "I never tried it, but don't think so, why do you ask?" He replied "Well, you don't like girls, you dont like dancing, so I think maybe you like heroin, ha ha ha." Yeah yeah very funny Danny.

THis is not Marlboro country!
