PANIC
SO, we might all be looking for jobs soon. I'm really worried that if we dont start production soon we'll loose the contract and the company will go bankrupt. We are supposed to ship out 1200 frames by September 15th, and I havent even started training yet. Supposedly the people I'm supposed to train have some experience, but who knows how much. Everything is a little screwed up here. The moulding is all warped, so it's nearly impossable to get straight peices. The boxes for shipping were ordered at the wrong size, so the frames dont fit. Is that it? I feel like I'm missing something. Oh yeah did I mention 1200 frames shipped out by Septeber the 5th!! Mahmoud (my boss) is extremely stressed. He was telling us that he's working with a 1.5 million dollar performance bond, and if we dont deliver on time or deliver poor quality, the company will cancel the contract and it's bye bye business. It will be worse of all for Mahmoud, if the company goes bankrupt he will be completely broke and will be paying off loans for the rest of his life. Mehrad and I will just have to find jobs when we get home. On to lighter news. The factory will be closed on Thursday for independence day, and again on Monday for some other national holiday. It will be good to have a little time off, even though we are totally swamped. Anyway it's out of our hands. All we can do is our best work, but I'm afraid that wont be good enough.
