1,000 calories:
Approximately 7 miles - Jogging on the treadmill
Yeah. So actually today was really good. I ran really well. I got a bit tired there at the end but I am without a doubt in the BEST SHAPE of my life. I have never been able to run so many miles without dying. Seriously, a few years ago I was even training for a half marathon and I couldn't run nearly as well as I can now. (I must admit that both my training and eating efforts back then were very very poor.)
Of course... the gym isn't open tomorrow so that means I won't be able to knock out the 1k calories. So I'll have to make it up as the week goes on by adding 250 to each session, or more, depending on how I feel ya know? It will be good to eat a little more and have my 'cheat day'. From previous experience, I know that my body responds really well to them. My goal tomorrow is to not eat past 'full' and to eat slowly, and to eat more protein than carbs. That's really hard, especially when EVERYTHING seems like it's made of starchy carbohydrates. Especially if your family is asian ya know? Rice? Noodles? Yeah. Carbs.
But I'm not gonna stress too much. I'm not gonna focus on the weight and let any eating disorder symptoms come up. Nope. I will just enjoy my time with my family... and of course drink a gallon of water during the day so that I'm not snacking on empty calories. (Alright, alright, but that's always what I try to do okay? Besides, it's a good trick we should all do anyways.)
So yay. Christmas is here and I've done NINE DAYS of 1k calorie workouts. Good job folks! Here we go! Keep it up!
