I had orientation friday and it was like 6 hours of lectures and 2 hours of registration. Im going to take 3 classes for a total of 15 credits and i only have class on monday tuesday and wednesday!! whooo hoooo!!!
I woke up this morning to these two guys measuring my room. haha...I just opened my eyes and there they were. measuring. I guess we are putting new carpet in, which means all day tomorrow I have to clean out my room. huurrrray!!
The other day we got Tanner a little baby doll wearing a nightgown with a plastic head, and just after one night, he ripped the head off and the stuffing went everywhere..hahahha it was hilarious. but he loved it, so the next day we got him this huge yellow duck that squeeks, and as of now its still in one piece. He just ripped that baby to shreds!
I took my dads metal detector outside in the yard and dug a few holes in the lawn...but I didn't find anything except a lot of dirt.
There must be something wrong with the shape of my head...i dont know, but every time I get my picture taken for a licence or ID card, there is this huge shadow underneath my ears that makes it look like I have really long hair. Its actually pretty histerical.
I went to Publix today and it was pooring rain. on the way there a HUGE lightning bolt came down and lit up the sky for like 5 seconds..which is a long time in "lightning seconds" when I got there I parked far away so that i could run in the rain.....and while i was running i came upon an old lady walking really slow towards the entrance with this gigantic trash bad covering her body...hahahhaa. she must not like the rain. then, of course, when i went in to get my cart, she was there. i turned around with my cart in hand came face to face with her and she said "it sure is wet out here" hahahha. I just stood there soaking wet and said "yeah" It was pretty funny.
I still don't have a job, which is pathetic. school starts in two weeks. I am pretty hopeful that I will be able to substitute teach on thursdays and fridays this fall..so that will bring in some doh!
