[He's been in the deeper area of the forest for quite some time. He's not doing much of anything -- simply trudging by slowly, occasionally turning his head to check his surroundings as he readjusts his grip on the journal.

Soon after he kicks out with his left leg, feeling the healing burn, then turns around to see the siblings not too far off.]

[Sokka will see Tormod and head over to at least interrogate him. Katara may or may not hang back for now.] Tormod.

[Tormod offers a small wave as he receives Sokka.] What brings you to the forest?

We're looking for Zuko.

[tatzenkreuz]

You mean he went missing, and he's here?

[markofthewise]

We hope he's here, anyways. He ran off a week ago.

Well, that's no good. I haven't seen him around, but I'll keep an eye out and leave a message if I do.

He has a burn scar over the side of his face. [Sokka covers the side of his face where is.] He's not hard to miss.

I know, we talked before. It'll make finding him easier.

Oh, I didn't know you two had met. [Thinking about it makes him wonder who Zuko had met. He didn't exactly hang out in the same circles that he and Katara did.]

[tatzenkreuz]

It was about two weeks ago, when he was painting the walls. His firebending is really something!

[markofthewise]

Oh, did he show it to you?

[tatzenkreuz]

Yeah. We agreed to show each other firebending and fire magic.

[markofthebrave]

[She remembers hearing about that. In all the craziness that's going on, she's not even embarrassed about the circumstances anymore.] How'd that go?

[Great. Bending talk. Sokka will stop paying attention for now, peering into the forest.]

[tatzenkreuz]

[Sorry, Sokka. But it feels nice, to be able to talk as though things aren't completely wrong right now.] Swimmingly! It's like the fire was an extension of himself, I was amazed.
