[ the problem with toasting something and bringing it along is that -- by the time you get there -- the whole treat's gonna be pretty stone cold. so despite buffy's believe that you can, indeed, toast anything...she ends up with a rather silly looking puck of a toasted sandwich wrapped in wax paper that she settles on the smithy counter.

and then she rings the bell. ]
