Tokyo is the biggest city I know of! It didn't use to be though... Heian--um, Kyoto was for a long time. Tokyo was called Edo back then.

No one I've asked knows about Tokyo either.

I've heard of Tokyo, but Neo Domino is the central city in Japan where I'm from. I think Japan itself may not even exist here, or this place is so rural that people haven't heard of it, at least.

..."Back then"? How far back is "back then"?

Torajirou's time was about 140 years ago, but I lived in Heian-kyo.

[History knowledge plus his ancient clothing would place him very, very far back.]

[Aki goes to school and all, but she probably still would have no idea what time frame he's talking about. She does, however, know it's been a looooong time since there was ever a Heian-kyo in Japan.]

I don't know when that would be compared to my time, but it must be a decent gap. There hasn't been a Heian-kyo since probably about two centuries ago.

It's been Kyoto for longer than that! Of course, the city has had many names in various times. I was surprised at how much had changed when I first inhabited Torajirou's consciousness.

If you're really from that far back, I would imagine so. Even those from before Zero Reverse in my world seem to be surprised at how much has changed in seventeen years alone.

I was a ghost; but I was given life again here!

When I was a ghost, though, only Torajirou and Hikaru could see me. I inhabited both of them so I could talk with them and see more of the world. And play go, of course!
