Quick update!
Here's a quick update to let ya'll know what's goin on!
I did some amazing flower viewing over at himeji castle last weekend and it was one of the most spectacular things I have ever done!! It was Me, Sean, Christa, Aku, Erin, Chase, Ayako and Taka. Unfortunately we were so busy running around taking pictures that we didn't actually get to perform what is called "hanami" (flower-viweing) which is merely finding a spot under the trees and watch the flower petals delicately float to the ground while drinking copious amounts of alcohol and singing karaoke. But it was a blast, I got some awesome pics that I will post here once I figure out how.
I also went to Aikido for the first time last week.
Aikido is probably one of the most weird experiences on earth. It kinda’ reminds me of two really hot models slap-fight in slow motion as far as the amount of energy involved. I absolutely love the concept behind it as well. You're expected to be so amazingly awesome and fast that you disarm the attacker and kick him straight in his ego as you embarrass him repeatedly by turning his every attack into a colorful summersault.
Yesterday, I went to Naofumi's party last night which was very silly and delightful. Danny, Christa, Eail (<--hard to spell name), Nao, Rex, and a smattering of shiranai Japanese folks were all there being awesome. We learned some hilarious Japanese drinking games and became amazed at how many people can fit into a Japanese apartment (it would seem to be 15).
Also, I just got a paid accounthere at LJ, so pictures can be shoved here as soon as I figure out the encoding. Word!
