The Three rode into town as the sun sank beneath the tattered buildings and broken homes. The wind blew briskly, giving The Three chills down their spines. The town lay desolate, untouched since the occurrences of three months ago...forgotten. The eerie, pale glow of the moon flooded the streets and cast shadows of gloom and doubt from The Three. The Third looked at his watch, "three weeks to the hour since..." his words trailed off into the faint night as he realized the Two were heeding no attention to anything but the shadows stretching before them. "Speak not of such things at such hours," the Second said, "a foul air already haunts our midst." The First looked to the moon, staring intently, questioning... The night sky dimmed, The Three shadows disappeared, seeping into the ground, enigmatically answering...
The Third glanced at his watch...
Three months since the town was destroyed...
Three weeks since The Fourth was lost to himself...
Three months since a Disaster...
Three weeks since a Tragedy...
