Busy times...
Firstly apologies to everyone for not making Saturday's party. I truly felt so awful on Saturday I never want to get like that again. It remains a mystery to me how other people can consume so much alcohol.
First few days into the job things seem to be going well. The highlight would definately be their coffee machine where the beans go in one end and the coffee comes out the other... Also it seems to be my ideal kind of job: sit in an office and use Google. I get to go to big meetings where people discuss important sounding things too :)
There was mention of them sending me to a conference in Amsterdam next week. I suspect it won't happen because I have just started but perhaps luck will be on my side.
Tuesday night is the EEE Grad Ball.
