Today's For Better or For Worse made me extremely angry. I hope this is merely a stupid comment by the character Elly and not some deluded sense of making a good point by the author. I can't say that I've ever seen a four-to-five panelled strip being so arrogant. If the latter is indeed true, then I honestly believe that said author is completely out of touch with reality.

I don't get ticked off by comic strips that often. But that is a really stupid thing to say, considering Elizabeth's boyfriend is 1000km away and trying to transfer to where she lives. This buildup between her and this old ex-boyfriend of hers to make a nice happy circle of life is both retarded and delusional. If it is the author trying to make these points legitimate, then it really is time she retired from comic strips. Mary Worth is beginning to be more interesting and realistic.
Meanwhile, I'm actually having some fun with Garfield now that Jon has a little extra character development. However, I'm finding 9 Chickweed Lane and newly discovered Stone Soup far more entertaining. I highly recommend you take a look at http://ucomics.com
