(no subject)
Today was my last day at work. I had to leave an hour early to go to an opticians appointment, so yesterday I offered to work an extra hour in the evening to cover for it, but Pauline told me not to bother, and that Rory (the manager) wouldnt be in anyway so it didnt matter. So I got an hour of pay for free, score. Also, Pauline gave me a box of celebrations and a card when I left, which was so so nice of her. Got me in a good mood for a while.
I was cycling from work to the opticians, and I saw Iris, my friend from uni driving, which was pretty nice. She didnt stop or anything but I text her when I was in the waiting room for the opticians for a bit, which was nice. I had to wait there for ages, and when I finally got in it was a girl who I'd never had before, and I swear she was coming onto me a lot. Which makes for a nice change, even if she wasnt good looking or anything. Plus right now I really cant be bothered. But she actually went out of her way to sort out sending a contact lense to my address in portsmouth, which she informed me they dont normally do, haha.
After that I came home, and played xbox with my brother for a bit. Since coming upstairs and taking some time out though my mood has dropped a bit.
Anyway, tomorrow should be going down to uni, which will be so nice. Im really looking forward to getting away from here, and back into the swing of things down there.
