So, in the spirit of -entines both Gal and Val, and because I'm feeling ridiculously productive, wordwise, un meme! Super basic and open-ended:

Leave me some shippy fic prompts, and I will write you something!

Be ridiculous, be-be ridiculous. I know I'm sometimes awful at delivering with these, but if you ask for robot/cockroach otp* and/or shameless ( Read more... )

YOU PUT IN THE HOURS TO KEEP ME IN SUNGLASSES

Her espresso's gone cold by the time he appears-wearing a leather jacket that looks effortfully dented, still shining beneath its purposeful scuffs. He's always indulgent whenever they're in Italy-what is that, some kind of assumed birthright? Every time, he gets a new jacket, and she's pretty sure it's company money that goes into it.

"Francesca," he says, kissing his fingers, the look on his face deceptively self-mocking behind his hand. "Bella."

Ahh, you've read it? I've never needed a sequel to anything so badly-or failing that, every variety of disreputable-future fic. (Things I prompted for Yuletide and was seriously sad not to get.)

God, yes. I picked it up on a whim a couple of years ago and fell in love, and have since tried to foist it off on pretty much every teenager that comes into the library where I volunteer. Everyone needs to read this book. And then, ideally, write all the fic. (I was so disappointed when I checked earlier in the week and saw there still wasn't any on Archive of Our Own. I reread it every six months or so, and every time, I think 'oh, this'll be the time there'll be fic!'. It never is, and that makes me sad. EVERYONE SHOULD LOVE IT OKAY.)
