Genres: dark, gritty pulp fiction (science fiction, horror, fantasy, weird - other); does not restrict stories by genre but content must be justified by storyline; dark, gritty, original, literary poems
Does Not Accept/Want: gratuitous sex and violence; anything racist, sexist, or which conveys a message of sex or cruelty to animals or children; stories with copyrighted characters (unless you have the rights), stories with well-known characters, stories that have RPG overtones, children's or YA stories, stories written in the style of another author; cliche works or happy rhymes, limericks
Fiction: stories up to 8,000 words (2000-4000 words is ideal), query for longer
Essays/Articles:
Poetry: no more than 30 lines
Reprints: query first
Deadlines/Reading Period: yes
Est. Response Time: up to 12 weeks
