Canon Source:
CloverCanon Format: Manga
Character's Name: Oruha (no surname given)
Character's Age: mid-twenties
What form will your character's NV take? A black iPhone with a silver four-leaf clover symbol instead of the Apple symbol.
Like so. Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities:
Oruha is a one-leaf Clover (please see below for an explanation of what `Clovers` are) whose only ability was to be able to predict the time of her death - not how or why or even where, but simply when. However, as I'll be taking her post-death, she'd no longer have this power in game.
Besides that, Oruha’s a normal young woman whose main talent is in singing. She has a lovely voice, and it was mentioned that she could have been famous (if only she hadn’t died so early).
Conditional: If your character has no superhuman canon abilities, what dormant ability will you give them?
In a similar vein as her canon ability (except marginally more useful), I'd like for her to have the ability to predict danger (more like a sixth sense or instinct rather than visions or outright prophecy). This is not full proof and isn't very specific - she won't know exactly what the danger is, but at the very least, she'll be put on guard.
When it first starts to manifest, it will probably just be something like `uneasy feeling of imminent and approaching danger` and will be very vague, so she won't realize what's going on right away. As her powers develop (and they won't for a very long time), she'll be able to glean more details though these will still be more like flashes of insight (such as `this person / thing might be involved` or `something bad might happen in this general area`) rather than something more concrete. This will be coupled with a prickling or slight burning sensation under her skin to indicate the activation of her ability.
Her powers will be strongest when the danger pertains to her own situation, but with time, she'll be able to predict danger for others as well, but only if she's physically touching them (and only when the dangerous situation will happen soon - if it will take more than half a day to happen, chances are she won't pick up on it). This sort of thing will, of course, be subject to prior plotting and the other mun's approval.

02In Oruha’s world, children born with magical powers - sorcerers - were called “Clovers” and were gathered and classified by the government according to the strength of their abilities. The ones deemed "one-leafs" were the weakest, while only the four-leaf was the strongest with abilities even the most powerful psychics couldn’t contain. (Psychics are, according to the canon, apparently different from the Clovers somehow, though this isn't something expounded on in length.)
Oruha was a one-leaf Clover. As with the other Clovers, she was taken in by the government, which then performed experiments on her to gain more insight into her abilities. Since she was just a one-leaf, one whose powers weren’t very useful - that is, the ability to know when she would die - she was branded with a clover tattoo on her chest and just sent home.
Years passed, and Oruha found work as a singer in a small bar. It's there that she meets a soldier named Kazuhiko, who she takes on as a lover after a three month courtship.
More time passed, and eventually, Oruha’s songs reached Suu, the only four-leaf Clover in existence. Suu had always been alone as the government feared that if she found someone to love, that person would be able to use her powers for their own gain. Despite this, Suu makes contact with Oruha by “calling” her on the phone, and while Oruha is understandably wary at first, the two strike up a friendship and become close, even writing and singing a song together.
It's her friendship with Suu that prompts the government into arranging Oruha’s death. On her birthday, Oruha explains matters to Suu and walks to the stage, knowing she's about to die. Up on stage, after she finishes her song, she is shot by an assassin and killed.
Point in Canon: Volume 3, after her death

Character Personality:
Oruha’s ability to predict when she will die colors a lot of how she's portrayed in the series. There’s a mixture of sadness and wistfulness in her interactions with others, most especially with her lover Kazuhiko, which is later revealed to be due to the fact that she loves him so much and doesn’t want to leave him.
She tells Suu, right before she goes on stage and is killed, that she hated knowing that she was forever “running out of time” and that she thought she “could never pour [herself] into anything” due to this. She was proven wrong when it came to singing and to being with Kazuhiko though, as both of these made her extremely happy.
Her songs show a lot of her inner thoughts as well as her love for Kazuhiko, most especially `Clover`, the song she wrote together with Suu. “I wish for happiness. I seek happiness, to find happiness with you… to be your happiness.” Her dearest wish is to be able to make Kazuhiko happy and, in turn, be happy with him, and it breaks her heart knowing that this is one wish she can't fulfill because of her fate.
She even says to Kazuhiko in one of their moments together that “to not die is the greatest gift you can give someone you love,” and Kazuhiko - thinking she meant that she feared him dying - reassures her that “I’m strong,” to which Oruha only smiles sadly.
Despite all this, Oruha is still a person brimming with love and life. She’s a kind person who loves to smile and to tease the people around her, playful and affectionate as she is. She tries to make the most of the time she has left and tries to share the happiness she has found with others. As Suu describes her, Oruha is a gentle and beautiful person.
Charming and charismatic, she’s a consummate performer who wants to share her songs with the world and be seen as the best. In her own words, when she’s on stage, she’s like an actress playing roles depending on the songs she sings.
Oruha is a woman who’s aware of her looks and is unafraid of her own sensuality and femininity. She loves to wear tastefully revealing dresses which accentuate her curves, and carries herself with quiet confidence at all times.
She can also be a bit shameless at times - such as when she greets Gingetsu, Kazuhiko’s commander, with a kiss on the cheek when Kazuhiko first introduces them though, of course, she kisses Kazuhiko full on the lips afterward so he won’t get jealous. Once, she even goes as far as having a tryst with Kazuhiko backstage though she still had a show to continue after. However, that doesn’t mean that Oruha’s crass or crude - she still remains elegant and lady-like at all times, and she makes it clear that her flirting is all in good fun; she’s not the kind of person to lead others on.
The fact that she became friends with Suu despite never having met her face to face shows just how open and accepting she is. She set aside her initial trepidation which stemmed from the fact she had no clue how Suu had found her home number or even who the younger girl was. She never once pushed Suu for answers regarding these matters, even assuring her that `Everyone has their secrets`. Another example of this is the fact that Oruha didn’t even bat an eyelash when she learns of Ran’s and Gingetsu’s relationship despite the apparent difference in their ages.
On the other hand, this overly accepting attitude can almost be considered a flaw at times - she accepts things so easily that one of her main weaknesses is her passivity.
Growing up with the knowledge of when she would die, she simply accepts it as a fact and makes no move to try and see beyond this. One could almost say it's all she sees. Despite her love for Kazuhiko and for all the friends she knew she'd be leaving behind, she doesn't try and change her destiny and inevitable death, instead walking right into it.
However, she's still sympathetic and considerate of those around her, and is perhaps the first to touch Suu’s heart. She acknowledges Suu’s loneliness and tells the younger girl that she hopes that Suu will find out what it means to be happy someday, wishing they could have met so that she could have held her and sung with her. In the end, with her gentle words and tragic death, Oruha is the one who inspires Suu to leave her `cage` in search of her own happiness, thus becoming the catalyst of the rest of the events in the series.
Conditional: Personality development in previous game: N/A
Character Plans:
Knowing that there would only be death to look forward to back in her world, Oruha would likely opt to settle down in Siren's Port, doing her best to carve a niche for herself as best she could. The city will be something familiar to her, with its nightlife and continuous power struggles (among other things) since her world was much the same though it was implied to be more technologically advanced.
She'll go on with her life, hopefully enjoying it more without the constant cloud of knowing when she'll die hanging around her. While she'd miss the people back home (Kazuhiko especially), she had already come to terms before she'd died that she'd have to part with them, so this shouldn't cause too many problems with her.
Also, given her past with experimentation and the like, it's doubtful she'd ever be comfortable with SERO. This, coupled with her occupation as a singer, makes her a good fit for AGI in case they ever take an interest in her, so that would be fun to play out, too.
Appearance/PB: Average height; black, curly hair; green eyes; curvaceous figure.

[the video flickers on to show a lady with dark, curly hair and inquisitive green eyes peering curiously into the camera. satisfied that the device is working, she leans back a little, a rueful smile on her lips]
This really wasn't what I was expecting when I stepped up on stage last night, but I suppose I can't complain.
[it was better than dying, after all. at least, so it seemed. but ah, there would be enough time to think about that later. right now, she's got other things on her mind.
[she leans forward once again, her expression more cheerful and her tone upbeat.]
A month's free stay is rather more generous than I'd ever thought to get, especially in a place like this, but it'd be safer to start saving up now for rent and other things, right? That said, would anyone know of a place that would like a singer? I've performed in bars before (though really, any place would be good), and I don't mind going out on auditions to get a job.
Here, let me give you a free sample now so you don't think I'm just wasting your time:
For you, I will be reborn... Whisk the past away on fluttering clouds. Let the future ride on the wind...
[she closes her eyes, the melody catching her up. isn't this song just apt for her situation now? except this time, she would be reborn for her own sake, rather than another's.]
Fearlessly, unceasingly, patiently. In your arms, I will be reborn...
[she lets the song trail off, her smile now impish]
Well? Good enough to land myself a job, do you think?

The lack of awareness of her time trickling away from her was disconcerting to say the least. It was a welcome change, one that lifted the pressure that had weighed down her heart for most of her life, but a frightening one as well. She no longer knew what to expect, especially now that she had been brought into this strange new world.
To be sure though, things here were... not as different from what they'd been like back home. There was an atmosphere here in the city that reminded her of her world, a kind of darkness and dreariness and danger. From what the - what had he called himself again? - the Greeter that had met her explained, there were even warring factions striving for supremacy here as well. No, not a far cry at all from what she was used to.
She tried not to dwell too much on the other similarities though - the doctors at the field conjured up too many unpleasant memories of the Clover Project, of the experiments performed on her as a child by the government. Oruha knew she'd try to avoid the SERO as much as possible.
Still, she mused as she sat herself on the old couch that came with the place, she wasn't the only one who'd been torn from their world, if the information she'd been given was correct. It must be difficult, being dragged away from everything you knew to be trapped in a City such as this. She couldn't help but wonder though - for every person who viewed their stay here as a curse, how many were there who thought of this as a second chance at life? How many of them were like her?
Oruha stood to pace, unable to keep still now. She touched the dusty furniture, the doorways, the cabinets with careful fingers as she passed, trying to imprint all of these details in her mind. Memories, especially of things such as these, were important. This would be her first home in this new world, something worth remembering for when she'd worked her way back up into something better.
And she would work her way up. She'd done it once before - she could do it again here. She would find work, move in some place better and fill it up with beautiful things so she wouldn't have to feel so alone every time she returned home.
The empty apartment reminded her all too much of just what she'd lost, and it was worse than when she'd first struck out on her own in her world because now she was aware of just what she was missing.
Oh, it was more than just the trappings of luxury she'd accumulated over the years - her cozy apartment, her beautiful dresses, her fancy accessories - that she missed.
Gingetsu's solid presence, Suu's quiet voice, Kazuhiko's warmth. All those things were far from her grasp now.
She made a decision then, as she began to fiddle with the communication device she'd been given. Her expression changed from furtive to the softly smiling one that was her default for when she was on stage as she pondered on what exactly to post on the network, even as she hardened her resolve.
She'd just have to do without.
