[Subaru still looks a little flushed, though despite the fever he still seems to be wearing gloves and is wrapped in a cover as he fumbles with the dream-berry for a moment trying to get the video to work right. There's a small cough before he begins speaking

...are you out of your mind? [He wants to yell at you, but have a stern voice instead.] You haven't recovered from your own illness and you want to give away medicine? You're not being reasonable.

[shrugs] By the way, there's soup for you. If you want it. You probably haven't eaten well enough.

There are other people who are a lot sicker than I am that need it though.

That'll always be the case. And that's why you should keep the medicine you have. What if your cold worsens? And you were unable to get medicine? It's not like you have an abundant supply of medicine to share.

It'll be trouble, if it goes to waste.

[He doesn't say anything else about the medicine, he really just had hoped that it could help someone who might have needed it worse than he did.]

Not at all. I'll have it prepared by the time you come down.

[There was no question that Subaru's intention was noble. But selfless acts like that will send the onmyouji to his grave. And Kamui was not having that, as long as the other was in his care.

[It's a few minutes before Subaru makes it down the stairs, only the slightest bit flush and little warm to the touch but he doesn't appear to be too ill.]

[ Just as promised Kamui has everything ready for Subaru when he does come down. A steaming bowl of soup, a small roll of bread and some ginger tea.

Kamui looks over to Subaru,the other didn't look too sick, but he would be a fool to allow appearances to judge wellness.]

...How are you feeling?

[Subaru smiles a little weakly, he's still slightly flushed but overall looks better than he had the previous days. Though he's still wearing a coat and tugging at his gloves as he walks in.]

I'm feeling better. . . well a little better than yesterday.

[It was hard not to look at those gloves while the other was tugging on them. The vampire wonders if he always wears them? From what he's seen, Subaru always wore them. For now, he ignore it.]

...That's good to hear. [Kamui's reply was emotionless, but he was really worried. Gesturing to the soup he has out for him.] ...I hope this helps.

It smells great. [Well he couldn't smell much of anything but he was sure that it must have been good. After all, Kamui had seemed like he went through a lot to make it.]

Kamui-san, is everything alright?

[ There was a lot of misses in making the soup, or should he say soups. And he had to swallow his pride to ask for help in order to have them. But that didn't matter, if it would help Subaru then it was worth it.]

...why do you ask? [ Kamui asks, looking to the onmyouji. He thought hiding everything very well.]

[Subaru stirred his soup for a moment looking down at it. He couldn't really say that Kamui seemed sad, but maybe lonely, though that didn't seem quite right either.]

Well it's just, Kamui-san has been really nice and helpful since I arrived. But to me, it seems like there's something on your mind. Did something happen before I arrived?

.....[ Kamui frowns more at himself, seeing that this Subaru on to him. But he should have known that keeping up this farce wouldn't be easy, and there would be one day that Subaru would question the reason behind his actions.

And Kamui couldn't really ignore Subaru, or the fact he was here...he needed to look after him.Needed to be in some kind of contact. So the vampire debated on what he should say to that.]

....I haven't been completely honest with you. Honest about how I know you.

Huh? You haven't been? [So then did that mean that he did know grandmother, or maybe he was one of Hokuto's friends that Subaru hadn't met.]

Then how do you know about me?

[Kamui looks down at the counter briefly before looking back at the other.]

How familiar are you with the idea of parallel universes and alternate realities?

I've heard about them, but I don't really know that much. Grandmother has talked about them a few times but not very much, there are still a lot of things that I am learning as the head of the family.

Though I've met a lot of people here who seem to be from alternate worlds. [Subaru stirs his soup for a moment, taking another spoonful.]

So Kamui-san and I are friends in another world as well?
