Today has been long already. I had a meeting with the financial advisor, regarding
Eneit Press, due to the fact that me and Etina are going to be looking at buying a flat soon.
We were going to be waiting a bit but a flat in an area she loves, which has the features she loves, has come up.
It means we will gain an extra 30 square metres, two extra rooms for not much more than we are paying now. It is the initial deposit that hurts and it is this money, tied in with
Eneit Press that needed talking about. Frankly I'm not a figures person and so it all goes blurry when I hear figures bandied around.
Anyway he kind of made sense and I know what to do about the current situation, which is all I could ask of him really (except for him offering to buy the flat for us of course...) and having clear goals is always a good thing, right... right?
That other business concern, Gilgamesh Press, is moving on in leaps and bounds and we may even have a web site soon! I know, already! There has been a lot of talk and there is a lot going on.
We should be seeing more reviews of
In Bad Dreams soon, as a couple of mags have asked for copies. These could come in at just the right time for the second book's release and if I get my promo head on, could be a winner!
Two weeks tomorrow... two weeks tomorrow and
In Bad Dreams - Volume Two shuts its doors to submissions. That means two weeks tomorrow decisions have to be made on what goes where and how and all that other editing malarky.
Just now we actually have more yes votes than we have space for in the book, which should really be telling you how good this book is going to be, for you can never have too much of a good thing... you can't, honestly!
It's a very big time now, lots of planning and my head is pretty much swirling with it all...
... more to follow... soon...
