Audiocity; How I love thee...

Audiocity is greeeat! I'm slowly getting the hang of the basics of it, such as editing, cutting etc. I've even had a go at the impossible: making a Nightwish song almost bearable (if you've heard the original of this 'radio edit', you'll know how much of a favour I've done for mankind)

Still quite rough in some parts from the clipping, but not bad for a start.

Planning to get a line-in connector from Maplins tomorrow, allowing me to plug my guitar/FX board into my Tower Of Power, and I can start fannying around with recording once I've mastered editing.

The final bit I need for completion is a half decent, easy freeware drum machine program. I've tried Hammerhead, but even though it's mainly used for jungle beats (which is no problem for me, I could have done some Berzerker crap with that), it is very lacking.

Darkproject could probably answer this for me: Does anyone know a program that would fit the bill and who's saved files are compatible with Audiocity?

Fuck me, I haven't been so excited about making irritating crap noise for ages!
