Dear readers,
I haven't forgotten you, I haven't given up on my stories and I can never enough stress out that I never will leave my writing work unfinished though I might take a long, very long time to complete it. I'm quite sure it will take me years (literally) to have all of my current work completed and online (Stolen Future and Eternal Wrath).
I love to write. Even though I'm not the kind of writer who can create a 100,000 words-long fiction in a couple of months, I do my best to find time to write here and there.
It doesn't help that I seem to be unable to write any short piece. For example, my very first story, Stolen Future, was supposed to be a standalone fiction. Now it needs a sequel and a few companion pieces. See? This is ridiculous but I can't help it!
Another example could be my Eternal Wrath saga which was originally intended to be a trilogy of multi-chapter fictions. It was already a lot for me when I started thinking about this series in 2011 (when I began writing fanfiction). Only, with time I realized that my plot was too close to Stolen Future (involving Zod and Darkseid), so I did a complete rewrite of my plan and ended up with an eight-story long saga plus six oneshots. Wow, okay but that's not even the end of it! Every once in a while a new fic-idea would pop up in my mind and I have to write it down.
In the end I'm committed to years of work there but I'm not complaining, I just wanted you to know that patience is required when it comes to my work and I really hope there will still be readers years from now.
On another matter, I wanted to inform you that there won't be anymore fanfiction updates on this livejournal. After reading a
note from the Adorable Blondes community, I realized I've been posting my stories at three different places at the same time (Fanfiction.net, Livejournal and Archive of Our Own.org) which is a waste of time on my end. Livejournal being a real pain when it comes to posting stories, I decided to only post on Archive Of Our Own and Fanfiction.net (for backup) and I strongly recommend AO3 which might seem complicated at first glance but truly is a real gem when it comes to writing/reading.
Nothing will be deleted on my livejournal page and I will still use this account to comment on other people's work. My master fic list will keep being updated and there might be a few posts related to my stories in the future but not the fics content itself.
Thanks for reading this note, in hope to hear from you, readers, soon.
Märk Owen.
