weekend recap

May 18, 2009 11:27

I know I've been neglecting this and I feel bad about it because I know in the future I'll want to look back and remember what was going on and when. So without further ado...

Lindsey graduated on Saturday. It was the first commencement I could work up the nerve to go to, seeing as how depressed I get about the fact that I haven't had the privilege of having my own. During commencement it all because really real to me about how my life is now changing. The high point for me was getting to shake hands with and talk to Usama Young ( http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=10510 ) who is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met. I told congratulations on graduating and how he inspired me to come back and finish up then he said thanks and asked what my major was.
After commencement everyone went to dinner at Bahama Breeze, it was a good meal. When we came back to Kent we have to move Lindsey out of her house which ended  up being an all day project which didn't end until around 9pm. My legs are still sore two days later.
Yesterday Lindsey and I spent the day bumming around my apartment (one of my favorite things to do with her) . When Lindsey left for home I started what I hope will be a summer long series of one movie a night. Last night it was the Oscar winning documentary Man on Wire. It was a great story but only a decent movie. Then it was a stand up dvd that i ended up almost falling asleep to.  Tonight I am finally going to get around to watching No Country for Old Men. I have really high hopes for this one.
