Tanya's had enough of Isabelle and Harth and all of their damned rules, and just too many bloody vampires. So, she's not gone back to Rome - she's been wandering around instead, having stolen a car and any other things that would be useful.

Alas, her car has stopped working, so she's heading into the nearest town on foot to see if she can steal another one.

Xander had a truck, but it's not here. And he's not sure where the here is, but it reminded him of home.

And not at in a good way.

He noticed somebody else nearby and hurried over.

"Hey, do you know where we are?"

"Not a bleeding clue," she says, cheerfully. She hasn't been looking at maps. But hey, another human! Awesome! At least, she thinks he's human.

Oh definitely human, just human that hangs out with Slayers, witches, the Key, and werewolves among others. And seems to attract demons for some reason, doesn't know why that is.

And girl that talks like Giles or Spike, ok. Very pretty girl too.

"Me either. Maybe there's a sign around here." Even a street sign might help as he started to walk around to look for one.

Tanya follows him, because he's human, he looks capable - oh, and he's cute enough.

"Your car break down too?" She asks.

Xander would agree on the capable, and the cuteness, he nodded as he walked along.

"Truck actually, it was around here. Only I don't this here is the same here as that I was, if that makes any sense?"

"No, not really," she says.

Alas. he is cute, but mad - but then, so is Isabelle so they should get on just fine.

Hey, he's totally sane. Or saner then some of the people he knows back home.

"I think we're somewhere else. I don't think this is another Hellmouth, but got that feel to it."

He got out a stake, "Good thing I came prepared."

"A hell-what?" She asks curiously, because she can't help but think she's heard that term before.

"Doesn't seem like vamp territory to me," she says, thoughtfully.

"Hellmouth, gateway to hell and magnet to lots of demons, vampires and other kinds of nasties. My hometown was parked over one, and maybe not, but it works against some demons too."

He glanced over, and switched his stake over to his left hand so he could offer her the right one, "I'm Xander by the way."

She snaps her fingers.

"Right. Knew I'd heard that before, just couldn't remember where."

She grins, and takes his hand.

"Tanya. Nice to meet you!"

Mmm. Firm grip. She approves.

All the better to touch... er clutch... no grip ...his tools! Right. *coughs*

Did it suddenly get warmer?

"Nice to meet you too, and you've heard of it? Heard anything about Sunnydale in California? That's where I'm from originally."

Tools. Oh baby, oh baby.

"No, don't think so - but I have heard of a Hellmouth. There's a guy in Rome who's trying to open one."

She should probably do something about that really, shouldn't she?

"Oh, and yeah? Heard something about vampires out that way. Head guy, he one too or a demon?" Could be Deadboy or somebody new. Either way he didn't like that idea at all.

"Vamp," she says. "Just a kid, but apparently he knows all sort of weird shit. He's got some kind of plan, but I don't know what it is."

"Damn, that doesn't sound good at all. Deadboy's older, so can't be him getting in touch with his inner evil side again. Must be somebody new."
