HOOO!
Today I've decided to prove myself an architect of the english language by enabling one of its finest tools...PARAGRAPHS!!!
Once upon a time(last sunday) I went to my uncles for a family BBQ. Well it was fun except for the the fact I'm a vegetarian I ended up eating yogurt and hamburger buns. YUM! When I get older I am going to make sure if I have a BBQ only vegetarians will find what I make delicious- soy nuggets of course. At my uncles I met my cousins boyfriend joe whos a nice guy but my uncle made a couple nose jokes in the kitchen(when he wasnt around) about how well he was hung due to the size of his nose. We played basketball and foosball making it to the championship(me and my brother as a team) where we proceeded to get destroyed my uncle and my aunt. While there I read John Steinbeck's East of Eden which keeps on impressing me. My family also took a interest in a story that I have in the works giving their compliments which is easily explained by the fact they are my family.
Today well I woke up and felt like shit so I decided I was going to go in late but AL later told me to stay home. While sitting in my room staring out my window I heard a lovely message left on my answering machine by no other than mark. Recently I have heard a name that Mark has coined in regards to justin and his lit mag fellowship "litfags". Justin of course would be Sam of the fellowship being hairy and loving food. Lippy would be pippin. Kelly would be stryder because she is tougher and more manly than either of the other members. Liz being at as many meetings as any editor will get to be gimli this is for obvious reasons. The rest of the day consisted of me sitting my room staring out the window, reading a bit and eating some toast.
Lastly my brother and I got into several debates over the weekend. #1 Was Donnie Darko I said it was a good movie with some deep thought behind it my brother thought it was a terrible movie. #2 Which books can you get more out of in terms of life fantasy (my brothers opinion) or from some of the great fiction writers of the past like Dickens, Fiztgerald, Hemmingway and Steinbeck. Post your thoughts so I can read them or just talk to me about them.
