everybody knows skunks like bacon.
i saw eternal sunshine of the spotless mind a while back and enjoyed it thoroughly. i really liked the girl who kept changing her hair color. her name was clementine, and i really like that name as well. it was repeatedly sad to me how she kept disappearing out of his mind when he was trying to hold on to her, but i guess that's something what makes a movie really good right? i also saw juno and the golden compass lately. golden compass was okay..i liked the part where the one polar bear ripped the other one's face off. juno, on the other hand, was super sweet. very amusing throughout the movie, and it had a really fun soundtrack. i suggest you all check out both.
i played racquetball for the first time ever. i got my ass handed to me by hideki at first, but i'm picking it up a bit at a time. regardless of the outcome of the games, its still fun doing something new and getting the best exercise i've had in a long time. i crave more racquetball. but not SSGHDB (pronounced Sbuh-guh-duh-buh) racquetball. not just yet. and i did actually manage to win my first ever game of racquetball today.
i'm putting together my references to apply for jobbie jobs the coming spring & summer.
there is a craaaaazy storm with pelting rain, lightning and thunder going on. weird for a michigan winter, but i like it quite a bit. i drove home in it, which was an adventure in itself. it was amusing cause some song came on the radio with the line "white light" repeated in it as lightning was crashing and lighting up the sky like nobody's business. then i turned off the radio sos i could hear the rain attacking my windshield and really experience the storm as much as possible without getting all cold and wet. when i got back close to home, the rain died down a bit, so i turned the radio back on, half expecting to hear "i can see clearly now, the rain is gone" belting out of my burned out speakers. but it wasn't.
i'm digging all the tunes i've heard by this paolo nutini guy i've caught on the radio twice or thrice. especially this one called "new shoes".
lastly, the other day i saw a duck-billed platypus. okay, no i didn't. but that would've been soooo coooool. (like with optiganally yours i mean).
