This was so heartbreakingly sweet and sad and good and I loved the way how with the muted colours and the simple song it just ambles along, and their love and the way they need each other, are just so drawn to and focussed on each other, really shines through.

There aren't that many happy moments in TSN but I think I used most of them, somtimes happy insignificant little things feel even deeper and sadder than sad moments when you know they'll probably never be smiling at each other like this again. Boy A is kind of awefully sad but it's a really pretty movie. Some scenes are a little harsh but if you don't mind that too much you should definitely give it a try, I think it's worth it.

Oh, thank you for pointing this out, I was a bit worried about this so it's nice to hear it came out ok!
I tried to catch Mark-ish moments in Jesse's other movies, he doesn't have a lot of those but he still somehow does sometimes, it's pretty interesting. Like, in Zombieland Tallahassee is trying to ask him when was the last time he had sex, except he keeps using the dorkiest expressions for it and Columbus has no idea what he's saying. Well, the confused 'I don't understand people' face he made in that moment just screamed Mark. I couldn't not use it. :D Thank you for your sweet comment <3
