Wait- why are they holding a bafta- they didn't win one did they? Some excuse to touch each other I suspect.

If I'm getting the story right, Fincher won but he wasn't there so Andrew and Jesse went up and accepted it for him. The livestream hasn't reached that point yet but rest assured there will be a spam.

I guess Fincher dislikes these things even more than Jesse, he's missed more than one that he has won.

Fincher wasn't there to accept his for best director so Andrew and Jesse collected it for him - I'm guessing that's what's going on.
