WOW, what a great night. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our Turnabout Show last night at the Quest. We all had such a great time and I'm sure we raised alot of money.
Special thanks to Jayson Hill for the awesome costume and doing practically everyone's hair in the tent. Also to Michael from Mac (aka Michelle McMichaels) for doing my makeup and being SOOOO patient with me. Also to Racquel, Chivonne, ObSINity, and Trinity for letting me borrow stuff.
To my dancers: Mocha (Brandon), Leo, and Devious. You guys worked it OUT. Thanks for your time and talent. You made my job SOO much easier.
To Sinceriti Katwell Mays: You ROCK! Thanks so much for doing your part for the production.
To Derek: Thanks for the AMAZING mix and for simply putting up with me. That mix was mostly your idea and you worked your ass off for it. I love you sooo much. I don't know if you or I were more nervous!
To EVERYONE who came out to support me -- I love you all so much. You're the BESTEST!
Last, but certainly not least -- to my sister Christy who was in the crowd. I've always been amazed when someone's family member is in the audience to support them. Last night I found out how emotional a time that can be. To be accepted by your family is a BIG deal, and she's the only one in my immediate family who does. Thanks SIS!
For those of you who missed the show last night, don't worry -- there will be plenty of other times for you to donate to Pridefest. Several other benefit shows are planned for the next few months. As soon as I hear how much money we raised, I'll be sure to post that here!
