Pride 2006
Ok, couple of things I wanted to share about this year's Pridefest.
First of all, the Pride Board has decided on our talent for Pridefest at Sloss this year.
Our comedian will be Lady Bunny, a nationally known drag queen who is just absolutely hillarious. We had LOTS of votes for her in the ballot boxes and we're happy we could book her for this event. You can check her out at www.LadyBunny.net .
Our musical guests will be Inaya Day and Amber! Inaya sings Nasty Girls, Lift it Up, Moving up(I take my problems to the dancefloor), Keep Pushin, and I'm Horney (Mousse T featuring Hot N' Juicy. Amber of course is well known to us all with Sexual, This is Your Night, Love One Another, as well as If You Could Read My Mind.
We're soooo excited about having our guests lined up this early in the game!
To kickoff the Pride season, we'll be having a Fat Tuesday Party at the 22nd Street Jazz Cafe on Tuesday, February 28 from 6-8. There will be some light food, complimentary wine and a cash bar.
As I posted last month, I need 11 of my friends to agree to give $100 for Pride this year. We're making a special club for the first 100 to give $100 and we're having a special VIP reception just for those 100 in May at The Tutweiler.
Lastly, don't forget about The Turnabout Show on March 3 at The Quest at 11pm. It's going to be a great show with all the pride board members entertaining! Yep, Mary590 will be out in FULL FORCE (music by DJ Derek -- HAWT) so you don't want to miss this!
