Happy new year!

The only chance I have at remembering anything anymore is if I write it down, so let LJ commence in the tradition of old. Even if it's only me who reads it, I dont really give a shit. It's a MIND EXERCIZE.

In December, I got drunk, did a ton of essays in a week, and proceeded to get drunk for almost every day for the rest of the month. I am now paying the price so I'm going to attempt giving it a rest til Mick's 21st.

Club Noir on the first was a beast; scared Honor and Ruth of by dancing to Out Tonight from Rent, but they seemed to sort of enjoy Dead or Alive. We had a pre booze at mine with the gorgeous Alex, who was festively decked out in Christmas baubles and looked amazing. Rick was there and Andy Mac was meant to come but didn't, boo. good night but.

The next week I crammed some essays in then went to visit Armstrong in London. Weekend in paradise, my enthusiasm for Oxford Street nearly killed her. We went to a punk pub come bar thing near Tottenham Court Road on the Thursday night and got wasted and met some punks. Then fell asleep on the bus. Friday we were hungover so we hazily "shopped" a little then went back to the flat for more booze. Relived our bus journey from the night before by popping some wine into a water bottle and tanning it. The bus journeys might actually have been my favourite thing about London, sadly, they involved geting wrecked in a short space of time and good good chat, so good I almost pissed myself on more than one occasion. We then hit some bar again near Tottenham Court Road and also near G.A.Y after meeting in a bar/club near Leceister Square with Ruth's mates from uni. They were very nice. Met Ross and Aaron in latter bar and drank strawberry cider, yums. After a lengthy discussion about music I crashed big style on Ruth's couch. Went to Camden alone the next day but couldn' feel my feet due to extensive, cold rainall so high tailed it to meet Ruth at Leicester Square. Got tickets for Boeing Boeing (what a mistake that venture turned out to be), went to Convent Garden to eat some baguettes amongst the pidgeons, watched a very cool bouncy band play downstairs, and got a curry. Boeing Boeing was shit. Jennifer Ellison was hot but that was the highlight of the night, really. The first act ended with the worst punchline ever - "being a man is SENSATIONAL" - so we fucked off to get some hot doughnuts and watch some Mighty Boosh in el flatto. Went home on Sunday. Ducked into first class because Virgin majorly cocked up, comfiest journey of ma life I tells ye. Good times.

The rest of the month was a haze of happiness. Had fun on the run up to Christmas, although the work night out ater the comedy club was a slight disappointment due to small attendance and a busy Buff Club. Christmas and new year were quiet but enjoyable. Spent the day itself mooching around my house with the maw and Morris, who made a superb meal. New year's eve was relitavely quiet but again happy that I was spending it with my nearest and dearest. Went to meet Mick's family on new year's day; played this mad game called murder and killed Mick's uncle and cousins. They were very nice. Saw the girls today before they went back to their respective places, had a laugh. Saw Ruth off also and watched High School Musical 2 with Raff&Lou, which I am ashamed to admit I enjoyed. Got band practice tomorrow which should be interesting since the last time I saw the boys Simon was dad dancing and the rest of us couldn't walk. Then probs won't see Mick or anyone else til Mon since exams are to be getting on with. Dylan Moran and cups of tea shall see me through, along with the awesome clips from Big Fat Quiz of the year 06 which Eve pointed me in the direction of. Russell Brand has grown on me and he makes a good companion for fellow Goth Detective raven spawn. Blah blah blah, that is all x
