How to help
I know everyone has been saying they want to help and my English teacher had a great idea! For all those of you in Nac, we have about 150-200 evacuees and some of them are children. They are going to be here for a while and they must get bored being cooped up all day. Why don't you go by the evacuee center (by Java Jacks in the rec center next to the library) in your spare time and see if you can't play a game with the kids or read a story to them? If you don't have time this weekend, don't worry they will still be there in a few weeks time. For those of you in Dallas and Houston you might be able to do this too, but I don't really know. You could definitely check it out!
