Hello everyone!
Trying to do research for my show, prostitutes in the 1980 Olympics in Russia, with one major problem. Under communism (atleast in 1980)prostitution did not exist. Neither did black market trading or homelessness! Yeah, my dramaturgical packet is going to be a wealth of info! Let me tell you!
Well, I am bored now so I think I will go and take a nap. It's weird how my day is almost over (well at least halfway) and most of you are still asleep! Life's weird!
Oh, for those of you who don't know, Labor is back in power in England with Tony Blair back in power. However, there was a massive decrease in support for the Labor party and both the Lib-Dems and Conservatives have picked up some extra seats. In one county that my design teacher is from the man who is now in office shook hands with Saddam (yes, that Saddam) and congratulated him on his power. He was running on the independent anti-war party. My design teacher told us about it and I found it interesting. Our elections have more in common than we think only there is not such a big fuss over them here and they are displeased with the 60% voter turnout they had (apparently a few years it was up to 80%). Kinda puts our really high voter turnout of what 55% in the most heated/closet elections in recent history to shame!
