I voted!
Yesterday, I voted in the Democratic primary! While this may not be a big deal to my friends in Virginia, my Florida friends better understand the thrill.
In Florida, when you register to vote, you also register your party affiliation. I was a registered Independent so I was not allowed to vote in any of the primaries. Here in Virginny, your party affiliation isn't registered with your voter info and therefore, everyone can vote in the primaries!
