Haven't updated in a while. Got busy.
Whole family got whooping cough (mom, dad, myself) about 6-7 weeks ago. Mom and I recovered. Dad didn't. Refused to seek treatment. Mom, aunt and I forced him to go to ER 2 weeks ago. Seemed to get better for about a week. Got worse earlier this week. Wednesday, mom said she was gonna take him again because he had trouble breathing. Also, no appetite, lost about 30-40lbs in the past few weeks. Constantly tired. Made a doctor's appointment with his cousin's doctor for tomorrow.
Was getting worse Saturday. Mom and I convinced him to go to the ER again because he couldn't go 10 feet w/o heavy breathing. On the way there, she suddenly realize he's jaundice. At ER, doctors immediately start like a triage. While they're doing that, notice one leg is swelling. Blood clot.
It's advanced cancer. Stage IV. They think pancreatic, but we won't know for sure until tests are finished. He says he doesn't want to be in pain and to just go.
