Whew!

Well, E3 is over and my boss is back in town so the workload rush is over!

I didn't get to go this year, which is sad, but I was still busy. You know, covering the major announcements and press release things. Plus, my boss was at that family reunion in New York all last week, so I was the most senior person in the office having to deal with all the shit. Oh, and his step-son who works there (I'm sure I've mentioned Adam) faked an illness so he wouldn't have to go so HE was there all week as well. Which is like babysitting a five year old in a 27 yr old's body.

At least I got to have fun on Friday and Saturday. Went shopping with friends on Friday (found two Japanese video games at INSANELY good prices used at Half Price Books) and then hung out with Jessi on Saturday. So I got to decompress.

Now my day job work is back to normal, which is great. It's just so much easier to manage right now. But the Gamertell/Siliconera stuff is picking up. I'm playing Wizardry (PS3) for Siliconera right now and will be playing the new Agarest Wars (PS3) for them soon too. Plus, I've got to do my column for Friday for Gamertell and get that Nyko 3DS battery review written up.

I beat Mass Effect 2, which I loved. I've turned into such a BioWare fangirl. Here I have all these great PS3 games and which ones are my favorite - which I constantly come back to? Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 2. Even though I should be only playing Wizardry for that review, I keep coming back to ME2 and doing like, one mission a day. I figure this second playthrough will be my all custom, Kaidan-mance one since I had access to the Cerberus Network and that ME: Genesis comic to make the ME1 decisions. The first playthrough, with the ME2 presets, will be my Garrus-mance one.

OH! And I won a contest! Remember a while back I went to that new Randhurst movie theater opening, where I saw the Star Trek movie for free? Well, I won their year's worth of movies contest. I got 12 free passes for that theater that are good for a year. I guess they figure I'd see one movie a month. I'm considering using one to go see Super 8. Anyone see it?
