(no subject)
The outlet mall trip this past weekend was a bust. The mall in Kenosha was just pretty boring. I didn't see anything interesting. It was fun to walk around and have a brief road trip though, so I suppose it wasn't a total wash.
I ended up heading to Wolff's Flea Market on Sunday, which was also a bust but a fun outing. I actually managed to get a 3DS StreetPass hit! Some dude called Mr. Chris. He didn't have any of the games I own though, so all I got was another Mii. And a shitload of those in-3DS coins from taking over 2,500. All of them were spent on Find Me, so I got the Kirby hat for my Mii. It reminded me that I really should use my 3DS as a pedometer more often. You know, encourage more walking and such.
Portal 2 is exceptional. Got it on Sunday as well and it's consumed my spare time the last few days. I am disappointed at how short the single player mode is though! In about 3 to 3 1/2 hours I ended up getting to Ch. 6! I'll probably replay that campaign a few times though, so I suppose it isn't that bad. I'm now finally sad the PSN is down, because it means no Portal 2 multiplayer. Oh well, I'll live.
I also got a random phone call from an ex-boyfriend from high school. A guy I dated like 3 times when I was a freshman. I guess he'd called my parents' house and my dad gave him my cell number. He really didn't have too much to say. He's moving back to the Chicago area from Russia and I guess he's just been trying to get ahold of some people he used to know. (I was worried he was calling to ask to borrow money. He was kinda cheap back in hs...)
Ah well. Time for more Portal 2.
