Weird Cake Boss Zombie Dream
I had the strangest dream last night.
Now, I watch Cake Boss sometimes. I don't watch that next baker spinoff. I don't often watch or read stuff about zombies. (The last thing was that Lakewoebegotten parody book about a month ago) And yet, this was my dream last night.
10 other people and 1 were participating in that next baker show. But I guess somehow the zombie apocolypse actually happened too. So we had to be careful when working outside and such because there were zombies roaming around. They were dumb and usually slow, but could be extraordinarily violent. And the zombies didn't just want brains and people to eat. They wanted real food too.
So on the first day of competition, two of the contestants were idiots and went outside after dark to hook up or something, and zombies got them. The next day, there was a judging (I guess there were no teams, just one person would win each test). Before the judging, Buddy said anyone who wanted to go home could, after what happened. Because I guess the attack drew more zombies to the area.
Three other contestants and I decided to leave, so we went down to this storefront area to wait. Bring our bags and such. And just as we're waiting for the driver (that guy with a mustache and beard - I think his name is Dave or Danny), this nasty ass zombie (that also looked like a gigantic baby - like one I saw in this B-movie when I was a kid). It starts attacking the truck we're supposed to leave in, because I guess some cakes were in the back too. One of those nameless assistants ran out to try and distract it, but it grabbed her and started munching on her too.
I think "Oh shit" and run up to the main bakery area upstairs to let everyone know what's happening. The other leaving people stay downstairs. I come down with a bunch of the other people and the zombie had broke through the window front, nibbled on the other contestants who wanted to leave, had gone back out and was in the back of a half demolished van eating the cakes inside. One of the other contestants asked if I still wanted to try and leave and I said no.
And then the alarm woke me up. :P
