Day 2 of the most recent Dad Debacle
After yesterday, my mom was just pissed about everything so she stayed in the extra bedroom here. Since he's going to be an ass anyway, she didn't want to deal with him.
So he just showed up about 10 minutes ago, demanding that we go to this flea market and lunch since yesterday my mom and I ruined the whole day for him. And he was pissy because he'd apparently tried calling my mom's cell to let her know he was on the way, but she'd had it off because she slept until noon. (Since he was fired almost a year ago, she had to beg her boss to give her more hours. She works from 7 till 3 weekdays, and since she works in the city and lives in the suburbs, it's over an hour commute. She wakes up around 5am weekdays, so I'd say she's entitled to sleep in.)
I've already said I have plans (I don't), which of course makes him more mad. But I guess mom's trying to placate him by suggesting getting Popeyes (one of his favorites) and setting up one or two of his favorite movies in the living room. So yay for family invading my home!
So I've called Dan and will head over to his house for a couple hours till Dad clears out. It works out well, because Dan says he has an old, extra PS3 controller I can have. It's supposed to be crap, but now at least I can play multiplayer games with people.
EDIT: Also, in case anyone is curious - this is my dad's normal behavior. No drugs or alcohol involved. He's just a natural ass.
Also, I got Flirty Cupcakes today! :D I'm bringing the s'more, chocolate banana with salted caramel icing and mocha ones over there when I go.
