What do you dream of? Do you act them out while awake? Are you fulfilled in life?
Do you mean night dreams, daydreams, or Dreams? I do dream at night, though I rarely remember my dreams and I don't credit them with much meaning. I daydream about many things, pleasant memories from the past, conversations with people in the near future, sex of course, hopes and worries for the future. As for my Dreams... I want to see the world become a better place. I want to live forever...or die trying. I want to see some evidence in my lifetime that humanity will eventually go to the stars...or perhaps create our own universe here.
Do I act them out while awake? I'm not sure what to make of that question. My night dreams aren't the stuff of action; at most, they've provided a bit of inspiration for poetry. For my daydreams that are somewhat more grounded, I often do wind up in a situation I've rehearsed and so, to the extent what really happens matches some script I've come up with, then I "act them out". As for my Dreams, at most I may take actions that lead toward some Dream.
Am I fulfilled in life? That's one of those questions phrased like a yes/no question, that can't possibly be answered just yes or no. I have a very fulfilling life. I have a wonderful family. I have a well-paying, comfortable, value-adding job in my chosen field. I have many, many wonderful friends. I think I live in one of the best places in the world and best times of history. And yet...I often have the feeling that there's something I'm missing, something more I could do, some better path I could choose. But Zen says that this feeling is an illusion, and Taoism says that I should not choose my path, but let my path choose me.
