It's all so sad. I gave money to the Red Cross last week, but I don't know that it got to the people who needed it when they needed it. What's happened, is so fucked up. I've been researching environmental issues at work, and from what I read about the standing water now surrounding New Orleans that is slowly being pumped into Lake Poticharlan (i can't spell it, woops) the land and the lake are fucked. A massive superfund site without any money for cleanup. Good lord.
