Jon leaves tomorrow for New York. He will be gone for 2 weeks. Thus begins a new journey for us.
We took Friday off to spend the day together since this weekend he is recording with his band.
We had an amazing day. We went to Oceanic to get snacks. They actually have food shipped from a bakery in Elmhurst thats about 5 blocks from Courtney and Joe's place. Appropriate coincidence.
Then we had lunch at this restaurant down the street from Oceanic in downtown called Fly. Food was delish and the weather was perfect for sitting outside.
We drove around playing the new(er) M.Ward album.
Then we walked around Intl Mall and came home and danced in the living room to some records (it was his idea too!).
Such a nice day. Oh I'm going to miss him.
Emily and I are going to Neo Trash to see if they will buy any of our unwanted clothes today.
