heather mills mccartney had the gall today to lament that after her £24/$48 million dollar divorce settlement, that she felt cheated because she wouldn't be able to fly her daughter first class anymore. a. yes, she can afford it. b. i'm sure daddy sir paul will spring for it. c. what an absolute bitch. d. did i mention what a bitch???
anyway. ian has figured out a way to get me a working tax credit worth $70 a week! that more than covers my council tax and after defering a small student loan, i might actually be able to afford life again and do things too. i wouldn't normally be eligible for it, as i'm not british or EU, but as Ian is British and we live together - apparently that allows me to qualify!
as i've still got one last paycheck from the library coming at the end of the month, i made my final splurge last night and got a 30 gb video ipod off ebay for £75 (ian got one too and they should be here tomorrow!) the guy we got them off is a dealer and totally reliable - so i'm quite pumped, i've wanted one for so long - and how could i possible survive that 18 hour flight to japan without one???
well that's all for now. worked a nine hour shift today without a single break, i'm tired and have earned a glass of wine while ian makes me dinner.
