It had Happened to me.....
I never thought those moments you dream about as a little girl would have ever happened for me. Your prom date being a gentleman, a beautiful church wedding, having your Dad be on time to pick you up from school.... looking into the eyes of someone you love and see that love returned.
After what had commenced between Kennedy and I... I finally had that one moment. I felt it... okay I felt it yes... but I knew it. I saw it in her eyes, it was there. We could be silent with each other and be expressing as much as we could ever with words. We finished the shower and got dressed again, exchanging glances and smiles all the while.
I had wanted to curl up beside her and sleep for hours, but once again the wheels in my head had been turning and with the candles and the hot shower the room had grown quite warm... I thought heading back to join the others might be wise, not that I minded them realizing what we had been up to.. I just didn't want them to think that was all we were doing. Plus I was sure they were a bit confused by the pile of clothing in the main room. I walked to the bed and yanked all the bedding off of it. The comforter the sheets all of it and balled it up in my arms.
"Feels like I am robbing a hotel... I doubt this would have ever fit in my luggage..." I smiled at her as she finished putting out the candles... although who cared if they burned... the room wasn't really here anyway. "I was thinking we could go lay in the main room and just relax, or even outside.. it is just really warm in here, and I might start sweating again, and this heat sweat usually not as fun as the sexy sweat."
I grinned at her, and hoped she hadn't had planned to stay in this sweltering room.
