Me Talk Pretty One Day - David Sedaris (audiobook - read by David Sedaris)

I LOVE this book by David Sedaris. His voice and accents add to the hilarity. Much of this book focuses on David learning to speak French, and much of the process is plagued by his strange obsessions and ways of getting out of doing things, such as asking for more than one object rather than trying to remember whether the article is masculine or feminine.

Insomnia - Stephen King

I really enjoyed this book closely related to the Dark Tower series. SK has an amazing talent of writing characters who are lovable and believable. The book was initially a little slow, but picked up nicely as you went along.

Bridge to Terabithia - Katherine Paterson (audiobook)

I read this book in middle school and couldn't remember much about it. Since the movie came out I wanted to read it again, but ended up getting the audio version to listen to while I drove home for spring break. It was performed by Robert Sean Leonard and very enjoyable!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - J.K. Rowling (with read_hp)

J.K. Rowling is amazing.

Dark Tower Book VII: The Dark Tower - Stephen King

I've already written about this one.

The Giver - Lois Lowry (audiobook)

Another book I listened to while jogging. I loved this book in middle school and enjoyed it this time as well. It really makes you think about the movement to stop having the arts in school and discouraging individuality.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - J.K. Rowling (with read_hp)

More foreshadowing than I could imagine! This book had very interesting ties with HBP!! I'm really enjoying and appreciating this books in this read-through since it's forcing me to read them slowly.

Dress Your Family in Cordoroy and Denim - David Sedaris (audiobook - read by David Sedaris)

Again, I can't praise David Sedaris more. His Southern accent when he's imitating his brother is to die for. I listened to this while cleaning my apartment and laughed out loud so many times! Naked is next on my list and I can't wait to start it.
