OMG... it looks like pineapple is there to the left. Tell me you can get to this place again. But I'll be visiting around Christmas, would they even sell me soft-cream during that time?

We can get there, and I bet they'll still have it - it's a souvenir place by the cave I went to in Okayama. Not sure if we want to haul all the way down there, but we can certainly discuss the possibility (I wonder if the cave is even open in the winter...).

If it's a deep cave the temperature should stay pretty constant. Aside from the cave is there other stuff to do there that might draw us?

Not really in that area - we ended up driving to Kurashiki, which was cute and had traditional architecture. From there, probably Okayama castle, or maybe even down to Hiroshima instead - it's pretty far northwest of here.
