Takes place not long after tR&tB. Alex had returned a few nights later, and the kiss they shared was much more than the peck on the cheek from the first time. But after losing himself in it briefly, Mulder had responded with a violent backhand to Krycek's face, and things went downhill from there. Now, a drunk Alex has taken to calling Mulder and leaving messages on his machine, and Mulder is struggling with what it might mean that he doesn't just erase them.

Finally, he decides they need to talk, and he tracks Alex down to an Irish pub.
