Sherlock wakes in the hospital after the events of TGG to find John (with a leg injury) sitting in a chair by his side. He also finds himself on the receiving end of the first of a string of text messages from Mycroft, providing him with helpful hints in how to treat John - hints meant to help Sherlock "woo" John.

So on arriving home after hospital, Sherlock begins to attempt the things Mycroft suggests - buying milk, resting his hand on John's leg, complimenting John's attractiveness in a certain shirt, letting John catch him looking at him as they watch Harry Potter movies together on telly, etc.

Very cute fic.
