A week ago, Gus left town for a conference. Now he's back, and he's wondering where Shawn is, and why there are so many messages on the answering machine. The story of the past seven days plays out as a story that Shawn tells Gus over the phone. It starts with the revelation that Shawn is gay, and just keeps getting better.
Shawn, Lassie and Henry in a bar when it's held-up, Henry figuring out that Shawn and Lassie have been seeing each other, Lassie finding out that Shawn's on antidepressants, angst, flashbacks to when Shawn and Gus first discussed Shawn's issues, a trip to Seattle to track down an escaped con, an old friend of Shawn's with a shady past, jealous Lassie, Shawn's aunt and mother and and invitation to Texas, I-love-you's over cell phones with low batteries, a flight home, rules for Shawn's employment, drinking with the gang, and a happy ever after. And Shawn thinks Gus and Jules belong together.
