I'm mostly familiar with the memes that become popular through Tumblr, which is where most of them seem to originate from or get circulated around so I'll understand that that's the current meme people are latching onto. It's fascinating how fast memes tend to go these days, and what determines which gets popular and which ones don't.

I could never find memes on tumblr. I just go to the funny board on imgur where that's basically all there is. I wouldn't be surprised to see a college course on memes within the next ten years at the rate they're going.

It honestly depends on who you follow there, because I often don't know about any of the newest memes until I see variations of what appears to be one on my dash. It's just all by chance what gets chosen to become the newest meme craze of the moment. And I'll admit some are clever, while others sometimes just confuse me.

There's actually a compiled list of the memes that have appeared over the years. It's long, and kind of interesting.

I don't think anybody who tried the unicorn frap liked it! One of my friends bought one and tried it for her Snapchat story - her quote was "I bought this because I'm basic... and it really sucks." I wanted to try it but I can't waste that kind of money on something that I'm pretty much guaranteed to hate :/

I WANT TO TRY A UNICORN STARBUCKS SO BADLY. I am purposefully going to go and find a Starbucks and try one. I swear I live in the only town in the world that doesn't have one but I'm travelling this weekend and I shall have.
