slowly getting back to normal
I watched Rogue One today! My uncle and I are both off work until Monday so we decided to finally take in a movie together that we'd been talking about forever. Going into it he asked it he could ask me questions about it if he was confused because he's seen the original trilogy but I don't think in years and years. Luckily R1 is incredibly easy to follow along because I wasn't sure I'd be able to make any connections for him to the other movies. I watched the original trilogy again myself last year around this time before I went to see Episode Seven but, y'know, there's a lot of shit in them I likely glossed over.
I enjoyed the whole thing from start to finish and it was emotionally satisfying enough for me without reducing me to a blubbering mess in the theatre. That's two 3d movies in a row I've seen now that employed the use of it effectively instead of for the mere sake of using it. You can't fool me that easily, 3d!
I friended a bunch of new people from the linked friending meme and it's been a while since I've done a current about me post so I'll try to work on that tomorrow. That should help me ease back into posting, as well. I was only away and off my regular schedule of doing nothing for a week or so but it feels a bit foreign to me right now. I would imagine having this time off isn't helping, either (although I'm enjoying it!)

I'm trying to get at least a line finished in my hurt/comfort bingo card that I signed up for back in JUNE (what, even!) because it's due in a couple days. I've done one fill. I love bingos but hate them because I never do them. :\ What's the point in that, Erin?! And, of course, the last two Advent calendar fills.
